RENTON, Wash. -- A suspect was shot and killed by officers Saturday night after Renton police say he ran inside a restaurant and stabbed someone.
It happened around 10 p.m. at the Cheers Bar and Grill in Renton. Investigators say the suspect came into the restaurant and threatened patrons with a knife before stabbing the victim.
Police quickly responded to the scene and an officer fired at the suspect, killing him.
The stabbing victim was sent to the hospital, but police have not said what their condition is.
No officers were hurt and the investigation is ongoing.
