RENTON, Wash. – Police confirmed a suspect was arrested and booked into jail Friday in the death of 21-year-old Jason Hobbs Jr., who was shot and killed in the parking lot a Renton apartment complex Nov. 30.

The King County Medical Examiner’s office told Q13 News that Hobbs died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Renton police originally believed at least two men were involved in his killing. It’s unclear if any suspects are still outstanding.

Police found Hobbs in the parking lot of a complex on the 900 block of Aberdeen Avenue Northeast just after 6:30 p.m. Paramedics tried to resuscitate him, but he died at the scene.

The Renton Police Department is expected to release more information on this case on Monday.
